It's a little known fact, but

Hey, PP, as much as I hate to do this with folks, I must respectfully disagree with you on this one. As much as we may find certain folks' posts way off topic, I don't think it is our duty to restrict what folks can and cannot say here. Like I've often said in the past, this place is about as close as you can get to what was the pre-show parking lot scene back in the day. Unwashed folks milling about talking about anything and everything while trying to sell stale bagels. True, the majority of discussions began with something Dead-related, but very few ended up on that same topic. I personally enjoy the variety of opinions and thoughts that we have here, and after a few years of participation, I find it keeps things fresh. And, as always, I have the option of not reading a person's posts. I understand where you are coming from, but just keep in mind that we have almost always encouraged all folks to feel free to vent what ever is on their minds here, as long as they are not direct attacks on a particular person (see the all to frequent activities a few months past...or is it more?).
OK, I'm off my soapbox and back in 73. Happy Friday to one and all.

Dark Hollow- I realize now I was out of line and apologize to the poster and all who I may have offended. You are correct, and I agree that i/we shouldn't discriminate anyone who wishes to add to the flow,but when it becomes too much of a joke, I don't like that. It' just that I thought this person was playing a joke and badmouthing those that do post in this forum. I reacted strongly,too strongly. I appreciate your pointing out my fault and honestly do feel I went a bit too far and hope all is forgiven..I am a very open-minded person and usually would not react like I did, but as I said I thought it was someone playing games. I realize now after their last post, that that wasn't the case. Peace to all.

Only a reference to the multitudes of folks I used to run into in parking lots attempting to sels less than fresh bagles so they could make it to the next show. Nothing satisfies a serious case of cotton mouth like a 4 day old bagel.
